BBK One Appoints New Executive Creative Director
BBK One has appointed a new Executive Creative Director. The position is taken on by Jesús Hurtado, who joined the agency in 2022 and has since become a key contributor, according to the company. They highlight that he has consistently brought a creative perspective rooted in close collaboration with clients.

A graduate in Advertising from Universidad Diego Portales, Hurtado has stood out over his ten-year career with major creative awards from the advertising industry, both nationally and internationally. Throughout his professional trajectory, he has held roles at agencies such as Prolam Y&R, BBDO, McCann, and Wunderman Thompson.
In his view, listening to clients is essential. He has worked with brands such as Spacio 1, Petrobras, and Aguas Andinas, among others, and emphasizes the importance of truly understanding their challenges.
“That’s where the brief written between the lines appears, and where we’ve been able, together with our clients, to achieve strong results,” Hurtado explains.
He adds that understanding the client’s language and putting himself in their place when approaching creativity has allowed him and his teams to bring winning ideas to life. His work has been recognized at The One Show, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Cannes Lions, Clio, El Sol, ACHAP, and other major festivals.
Hurtado also highlights that working alongside José Vallejos, Managing Partner of BBK Group, has been a valuable opportunity for learning and collaboration.
